Lyrics

Tomorrow

Written By: Kiran Hungin

Woke up late again
My feet feel heavy on the stairs.
The dishes in the sink just frown at me.
Think I'll roll a cigarette.

I take a deep breath in. My thoughts just swirl like the smoke around my head.

Got a million things to do but I'll sit and think of you instead.

Won't someone just be kind enough to throw me a rope, to pull me through this waste land of empty hope.

Well time she is a friend of mine, so maybe I'll be fine tomorrow.

Cos I'll do all of those things I've been saying I'm gonna do for so long. I'll clean the bath, I'll even fix that creaky floorboard in the hall. I just need one more day to accept the fact you aint gonna call. I promise that tomorrow I just won't think of you at all.

Well my friend she said to me "honey, it won't be no walk in the park". Maybe I was naive but I never thought it would be so damn hard.

The phone rings and I jump out of my skin. I run to pick it up but then just stand and let it ring.
Think I'll answer it tomorrow.

I'll do all of those of things I've been saying I'm gonna do for so long. I'll clean the bath, I'll even fix that creaky floorboard in the hall. I just need one more day to accept the fact you aint gonna call.
(chorus repeats)
I promise that tomorrow, I just won't think of you at all.
