Bio

My name is Kirk Green and I am a Bassist, composer, producer, arranger and vocalist. I enjoy all genres of music from classical to RnB, reggae to rock and roll and everything else in between. From the politically conscious lyrics of Bob Marley to the literary prose of Sting, to the strong grooves of Earth Wind and Fire and the driving guitars of Stone Temple Pilots. My biggest influences have been the works of bassists like Stanley Clarke, Jaco Pastorius, John Patitucci, Victor Wooten and Marcus Miller just to name a few.
I started my musical journey playing the guitar but quickly realized after watching an episode of the Arseno Hall show where the featured guest was Stanley Clarke, my destiny would be changed forever. Thus began my "Bass Odyssey" and I have yet to divert from that path.

Like my music, my band is comprised of an accomplished eclectic group of musicians who are versed in all styles, all coming from varying backgrounds. This allows the band to play a myriad of styles ranging from World Jazz to Techno and Dub Step. Combining the new world savvy with old school skills is our mission with our sound.

In short, music is my life partner. It may not cook, clean, or do domestic chores, but it brings me a sense of joy and happiness that no words can express.
