Like Mother, Like Daughter.. connected through music, dynamic performers and songwriters. Their own unique combination of folk, country with a dash of pop/jazz influences. Life is full of possibilities for this new Mother Daughter Duo!

"KiSara" is a wonderful new band, from southwestern Ontario that takes it name from its two key members...Kim and Sara Souch.

Oh yes...they're mother and daughter. Naomi and Wynonna Judd ...look out!!

OK so Naomi and Wynnona broke up (at least on stage) but you get the point.

A mother and daughter performing together is an amazing thing especially when you consider that most mothers and their nineteen-year old daughters seem to be on different planets.
18 year old Sara was born with Autism, and her singer/songwriter mother Kim found that music could be the bridge between them!
Possessed with a natural gift of singing and perfect pitch,  Sara's warm and powerful voice gives us insight into her world - one of wonderful artistic talent!
Kim's fun-loving approach to music and life, have made their journey one of discovery, music, and joy!

A talented vocalist and songwriter, she compares her life to a mixture of the real and sitcom "Reba" including the fiery red hair! Start with my love of family and music, add in a pinch of laughter and life's dynamics and "voila" you have no shortage of excitement!

Kim & Sara just finished the first half of their 2008 "Kaleidoscope Ride Tour", touring through Northern Ontario all the way out to New Westminster BC and back in 23 days!

I've always encouraged Sara to believe in herself and follow her dreams! Together we encourage families and others with disabilities to explore their talents and celebrate life!

And as the last line in one of their most popular songs states "Everywhere I look I see ... possibilities"!

Child Inside

Written By: Kim Souch

Straighten up
Don't be late
Don't touch, be quiet
clean off your plate
From the time we're born
we rush to erase
our childish ways
into a grown up face
But as our childhood
begins to fade
It leaves inside
a secret place
where innocence resides
the child inside

Climb that ladder
toe the line
pay attention, be strong
a race with time
Sometimes I want
to just break free
turn off progress
and just breathe
take my children's
hands and run
through the fields,
trees and sun
Let the bonds unwind
the child inside

The child
who still wonders
at a world
of shapes and colors
the miracle of life,
the mystery of night
How dust dances
on a ray of light
Whose eyes still
see each drop of dew
as it falls from
the evening sky
Always asking why
Why do we hide
the child inside..
