"I first met the lead singer John Fullwood who comes from a musical family, in 2011 on the Vans Warped Tour. John was touring with another band at the time but have long since formed his own band Kiss and Yell whose creative sound is a mix of rock infusion and soul. I have been following Kiss and Yell for the past few years, and have watched the band develop their artistry, musically, and sonically & really put in the work both with playing gigs and working the social media circuit. A Festival like SXSW would be a great platform and wonderful opportunity for the band to continue to develop and grow their brand as they pave their own way in today's music industry.''

Kiss and Yell is an alternative/rock band based out of Southern California. Comprised of John Fullwood on guitar/vocals, Kim Kristy on bass/keys and Caitlin Gormsen on guitar/backup vocals. They've created their own unique blend of alternative/rock, soul, and R B pop. With an arsenal of catchy, fresh songs born out of dynamic chemistry, they are gearing up to release their first record together as Kiss and Yell. (October 2014)
