"Various Press Quotes"

"Kissing Tigers won us over during one of their chaotic live sets in Los Angeles…truly punk rock" –

"Their unique blend of charismatic live performance, heartfelt lyrics and catchy melodies make for a combination that is difficult to ignore" – Flux Magazine

'"Pleasure of Resistance" by Kissing Tigers is the catchiest new wave song about the joys of empty, weird sex since "Sex Dwarf"' –

"I mean this self-described "darkly themed dance-punk" record is probably better than half of the stuff you own. This album is sexy. That's right, it's sexy" –

Meeting over six years ago on the notoriously rowdy campus of UC Santa Barbara, Kissing Tigers' music has always been a byproduct of their environment. With Belmont Woods, the Los Angeles based quintet's forthcoming EP, the band draws references from Pulp's imaginative story-telling, New Order's danceable melodies, and Sparks' sexy charisma. Yet, the band's innovative song writing skillfully blends these influences into a sound uniquely their own. With its breathy vocals complimenting wistful/relaxed synths and melodic guitars, this band's light-hearted, California charm won't be mistaken as another British import.
