"KiTorah"

This petite singer/songwriter got the pet name KiTorah from her performances at a popular resort hotel where she worked for the last three years.

KiTorah's passion for music is evident in the variety of formats in which she has performed. However, she loves Pop, Alternative and Contemporary music as her career choice.

In 1998 KiTorah won the coveted Barbadian Teen Talent Award as Betty P..... She has gone on to be a Specialist at the popular Almond Beach Resort and a nostalgic cabaret performer at the Plantation “Back-In-Time” Show sharing the stage with famed calypsonian/R&B artist John King.

She is presently working on material for her first solo album “Love & Payne” with Grammy Award winning producer, Jimmy “Senya” Haynes, of Sade, Tracy Chapman and Steel Pulse fame. He has added his touch to four songs penned by the Artist one of those songs is "Get Away" with a rocky edge.

Most recently, she co-wrote which we believe to be her first single “Love Like Mine” with Kristina Unjhem, a Norwegian singer/songwriter for producers Deekay Music / Pop City, who has produced a couple hits for the British group, BLUE.

The track “Love Like Mine” delivers to the world music industry the same Caribbean Dancehall/Pop style similar to that of Beyonce´ and Sean Paul.

Barbados has been in the news for most of the last year due to the signing of Rupee and Rhianna and it is certainly fate that these two females went to the same school and will share the same stage in this years 2007 Barbados Music Awards.

KiTorah also envisages acting as a future career and recently has been chosen as one of three for a starring role in a German movie to be filmed on location in Barbados.

Kitorah is getting ready to release a new song, "From This Day On" written and produced by Tony Hoyos with a video to come in the near future. Keep your conscious straight KiTorah is at your door.
