Bio
K-Lab a.k.a. Matthijs Duijm, was born in 1988 in Ouderkerk aan den IJssel, The Netherlands. At the age of 8 he started playing trumpet, because he was very interested in music already. After playing trumpet for 5 years he stopped, because his football training was on the same evening.
At the age of fifteen K-Lab wanted to do something with music again, and his love for dance music made him buy his first turntables. Two years later there was a DJ Contest at his High School and he practiced even more. The result was that he won the contest, and could spin on the next School parties. After High School he went to the HQ School of Bible & Arts to develop himself as musician and learn more about his faith. His vision about dance music did grow and he started GodsHouse.nl for DJ`s with the same vision and continued with spinning records. He already spinned at several school parties at Outland and ClubTropicana for example and organised the GodsHouse party.
K-Lab`s sets are a mix of House, Tech-trance and Trance. Positive music with energy.
