Bio
Born in Columbus, OH, but adopted the LA swag, discovered his love for music and hip-hop when hometown superstar "Bow Wow" had made to the big screen. While attending opening mic in Columbus, Klay Dot began to pursue his dream of becoming a recording artist. It was in November 2010 that he formed his first group, "Liberti Movement", which on January his former group Liberti Movement decided to travel to Chicago for X-Factor auditions, he and the group had eased through the audition process and out to LA boot camp with 150 competing contestants.
After the show Klay had decide to spilt from the group to focus on his on solo project, coming back to Ohio in November (2012) with a Macbook and a microphone where he began working on his project, tours/shows with Label artists Micky Factz, The Kid Dayton, Chi City. While on tour venues Klay Dot performed at
*Subteranean- Chicago, IL
*Skully's Music Hall- Columbus, OH
*Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity House- Athens, OH
*DJ Unite Convenance- Indiana
*Level 3- Hollywood, CA etc.
In 2013, Klay teamed up with Chicago Rapper Chi City for the America Mid-West Tour and later that summer Klay traveled out to LA for the 2013 BET Awards were there he began networking with some producers/labels and other songwriters.
