K-Mil

Finding the best way to describe K-Mil is not an easy job. She creates a sophisticated balance of rhyme, melody, and imagery that leaves the listener in awe. This was evident after she was declared the winner of the very first showcase she ever entered. K-Mil is a native of Atlanta Georgia and she loves the dirty south music, but she also has many other musical influences including Anita Baker, Lauryn Hill, and Amy Winehouse.

K-Mil began her career in entertainment by interning at Hot 107.9 in Atlanta at age 18. Her upbeat, spunky personality provided her an opportunity to create and produce her own radio show on a popular urban radio station in Macon, GA. She also has hosted numerous events including Christian Combs, son of Sean “Puffy” Combs’ birthday party, many celebrity charity events, and at nine-teen, she hosted amateur night at a popular comedy club in Atlanta called Uptown Comedy Corner.

K-Mil attended Georgia State University where she majored in journalism and minored in theater. She has written for a hip-hop entertainment magazine, as well as a relationship column for a Christian magazine. She has only been writing music for two months, but her sound is already classic. Her unforgettable blend creates a genre that cannot be fully understood until you press play.
