Kmplx Vzn

Kmplx has always been interested in music since he was a kid, all thanks to his mother.  She used to be a part of this music world, singing & rapping.  She always sang around the house and when Kmplx would listen to good music growing up, he could hear her voice.

Michael Jackson has also been a big influence to why he enjoys music so much. Michael’s music was big for Kmplx. “I can’t explain it, I don’t know why, I just love it.”  Mike was definitely a big part of Kmplx’s life, all the way around. He really wanted to be like Mike because he made great music, which Kmplx still loves to this day. Even though he is a fan of a legend like Michael, Kmplx is still aware of the current music. He is into anything that’s gets him going.  He is all about the music.  

“I love music because of what it could do for people.” Kmplx believes that music can control a mood; help people understand situations that they can’t relate to and even help people relate to situations that they are going through. This notion of how music moved made Kmplx love the fact that he can create a different atmosphere based solely on sounds.

​There is a lot Kmplx can do with his music, places he can go with it, and people he can help with it. Sometimes his music is misunderstood, but if you really listen to it you will be able to figure out the message within the message.

​Being a rapper is just one part of who Kmplx is as an artist, another part is being a songwriter. It is easy for anyone to get their lyrics written for them, but is it really what they want to say and how they are feeling.  Before Kmplx writes good music he listens to good music. He doesn’t just sit down and scribble, he feels it, he thinks about it and whatever feeling Kmplx gets from the track, he gives it right back.  That’s what gives my music the extra value.  It definitely is something worth listening to.
