Cascading, patterned acoustic guitar notes layer on top of each other to create an impressive waterfall of sound. The breathy, high-pitched vocals and electric guitar notes add to the beautiful maelstrom. There’s a lot going on in this song: it begins with complex, patterned melodic acoustic guitar lines before opening up into a male/female duet. Shabtay’s vocals are a cross between Brett Dennen’s high pitch and Passenger’s distinctive delivery, while the woman’s are a soft alto. Then there’s an incredibly beautiful harmonica performance to cap it all off. Wow. - Independent Clauses

Bio
Knaan Shabtay (born 1987, Switzerland) is a singer songwriter and guitar player.
His musical genre is often related to indie or folk and he was inspired a lot by artists like Paul Simon and James Taylor.
With the age of 12 he began studying classical guitar and later on moved on to explore different musical styles such as Jazz and Flamenco.
As he was 23 years old he moved to London UK in order to study music professionally. It was there, where he discovered his love for songwriting and singing.
After spending some time in different bands, as frontman or guitar player, he released independently in November 2014 his debut EP ''Lost In Time'' which includes four songs.
''Stay A Little Longer'' is the first single from the EP ''Lost In Time'' and after the appearance in different radio stations in early 2015, an Israel tour with a show at ''Haifa 100 Live'' festival followed.
Currently Knaan lives in Tel Aviv, where he works on his art.
