Bio

Forged in the fires of Raleigh NC, a place better known for barbecue than metal, Knightmare is storming the state like a surging hurricane; leaving victims hungry for a lot more than a sandwich. Knightmare will hit you on all fronts with three guitarists, a drummer and singer bassist. Sounds like a lot at first, but it will surely be love at first listen. If you love melodic and rhythmic harmonies, if you love thunderous drums, stitched together with bass lines that do not stop, then Knightmare will surely sound like a dream come true. The journey of metal through the eyes of these 5 will show you powerful vocal chorus', unrelenting guitar solos, instrumental breaks, shredding fluid riffs that flow like the waters of ancient Babylon.
Knightmare is heavily influenced by classic and new metal acts such as Iron Maiden, Trivium, Children of Bodom, Edguy, Ozzy Osbourne, Van Halen, Metallica, Avenged Sevenfold.
Though Knightmare credits these as their main musical influences, there are many more that have influenced them outside the walls of "metal". Such as Led Zeppelin, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stevie Ray Vaughan, AC/DC, Black Label Society, Protest the Hero, The Who, Foo Fighters, CKY, Incubus, Hammerfall, Guns N Roses.
Knightmare strives to incorporate their vast many influences into all their sounds and musical ideas. A real challenge, and homage to our heavy metal and non metal roots.
Knightmare has played many shows in the Raleigh area. Whether its headlining the mighty and prestigious Lincoln Theatre, or playing shows at local clubs and bars with many of our good friends in the metal scene, Knightmare will ALWAYS put on a killer show that you will not soon forget.

Though we haven't made it out of the state physically, we have many diehard fans across the country, and soon, the world.
