Knodaledge

Growing up listening to funky Motown sounds to grungy heavy metal, Knodaledge (Mario Arguera) learned to appreciate all genres of music at an early age. While in elementary school, he realized he had a knack for writing very descriptive compositions as well as a love to take in as much knowledge as his mind could hold. While reading poetry books and writing his own pieces, Knodaledge found a new hobby that would allow him to combine his love for music with his love for real poetry; hiphop. Soon Knodaledge was often listening to such acts as KRS-1, Wu-Tang Clan, Camp Lo or Jurassic 5. His love for this boom-bap era of hiphop was so strong that he never really accepted its eventual change into a more pop-sounding format. Thus Knodaledge’s own music reflects his mentality. His music is often described as “old school” or “golden age”, much to his satisfaction. While in the studio, Knodaledge sets out to paint a story for the listener with each song, just like his past influences did for him. Humble & tranquil in the recording booth, his live shows are anything but. Knodaledge strives, with each show, to give the audience a good time. Showcasing an energetic stage presence, Knodaledge pulls his audience into his world to make the experience as fun and as intimate as possible. Using his quick wit and even quicker tongue, he is able to make each show unique and memorable. It is these same skills that also allowed Knodaledge to reign as Fresno, California’s 2-time freestyle battle champion, while his music (along with his group Alpha Force) allowed him to be deemed an “Artist You Should Know” by his local newspaper.
