KB “THE PRODUCER” aka Knolly Boy 2k was born as Michael Smith Jr. started rapping for fun in 1999. Under his old identity, The Ritler rapidly earned his stripes by competing in numerous high school battles and ciphers. In 2004 The Ritler was forced to change his name due to originality. With a new identity the lyricist reconstructed his attack and combined lyrical wizardry, wordsmith, and his fashion-forward sensibility and became the powerful force he is today. Known throughout the DMV Entertainment Industry as one of the “ Dopest” Independent producers on the scene right now as it pertains to any style of music, KB can deliver. As a representative of the next up and coming music Mecca of HIP HOP, which is the home to Lil Moe, Martin, Maya, and Genuwine, NOTTZ and more. KB has been quoted to be the “Next producer to blow out of the DMV “. KB has seen his fair share of ups and downs in the entertainment business. With over 13 plus years of experience under his belt, he has established himself and his brand as a go-to for many of DMV’s majors and up coming artists and business. KB a Landover, MD (PG County) Native. KB hopped off the porch late listening to No Limit, but as he got older, he realized that hip-hop was calling after studying the rap skills of Jada Kiss, Twista, 3-6 Mafia, and Cassidy. Balancing creativity, liquor, and a whole lot of
partying, KB manages to make producing and rapping look really easy. KB is a Force to be reckoned with in 2013.
