KNG is an up-and-coming rapper from Brunswick, Georgia. Not too long ago, he released an introspective rap tune, entitled, “Farrakhan”.
“Farrakhan” serves as KNG’s most powerful and essential statement yet. Also, the song is a fantastic overview of what listeners can expect to hear from the charismatic emcee. Furthermore, the song addresses Minister Farrakhan’s social media ban. KNG’s “Farrakhan” single contains a relatable storyline and conversational rap vocals. Also, the likable tune possesses melodic instrumentation scented with a standard hip-hop aroma. KNG strives to be a man that his family and community can be proud of. His love of science (at a young age) pushed him to pursue a career in medicine. But, somewhere along the way, that love faded, and his love for music led him on a path to self-discovery. Being a smaller artist on the rise, it’s awesome to find musicians like KNG that stay to true to the roots that raised them and being able to support them thru that period of growth in their music. As a little background, KNG was born and raised in small, rural Brunswick, Georgia, and strived to be a man that his family and community could be proud of. His love of science at a young age pushed him to pursue a career in medicine, but somewhere along the way that love faded. Feeling lost afterwards, music was his path to self discovery; writing raps to gather his thoughts, and relieve the stress and pain he was feeling. It was during this period of time he found his gift. After freestyling with friends from time to time, he began to take lyrics and songwriting seriously. He released his first project, Pencil Shavings in the Ashtray, in January 2018 and hasn’t looked back.
