The first obvious difference noticed when attending a Knuf Said show is their age! Despite the fact that only half the band can legally drive, they play music well beyond their years. Many a passing listener has been stopped in their tracks at various southern New England outdoor festivals when they get a glimpse of who is producing this unique musical mix.
All four members developed a musical ears through their parents eclectic tastes, and somehow later found each other through a few serendipitous meetings.
This has resulted in quite a bit of original material in a 2 year span, influenced by current and past heroes in the musical industry; from The Meters to Lettuce, Stevie Wonder to Dave Mathews. And yet Knuf Said has yielded a sound all their own. And only time will tell whether they make their own mark in the musical world.
I'm holding my breath.
