"Plays Well With Others"

"A gutsy singer, strong alto, she has a very soft and sensitive side with a lot of warmth and puts together an interesting performance, with a nice gallery of her own originals, usually at the Front St. Coffee House and a regular at the oldest open mike in America, the Pig’s Eye in Salem. She plays well with others, and I’ve heard many report how other performers really enjoy her additions to their sets. " - Alfred Nesser, Harmony Hill Newsletter - December 2007

Bio

I have been a singer forever. Since 2001, I have studied classical violin with Alan Hawryluk in Salem. In 2004, I started learning guitar, taking some lessons with Julie Dougherty, a North Shore singer/songwriter/legend.

I also took a workshop at Julie's Studio and started writing my own songs. No album out yet, but it is only a matter of time.

My favorite types of music are Blues, big band Jazz Standards and Soul. I play some Folk. Since March of 2009 I have been playing primarily bass guitar.

You can see me at:

Derby Street Variety Show at Salem cable access station, airs in about ten Essex County towns;
I also play bass and sing for the Carl Raymond Band and Pat Cavanaugh's Barnstormers.

Always looking for paid opportunities to play: entertainment, weddings, memorials, covers, originals, solos, duos, etc.
