KOBY STAXX

Kwabena "Koby
Staxx" Kusi (born April 10, 1990) is a west African/American rapper,
singer,songwriter, record
producer, and Studio engineer currently in Columbus, Ohio. He is gaining
recognition for his ability to infuse both of his
cultures (African and American music) yet also making music that stays true to both styles. Koby
also gains recognition for the fact that he produces his own music from
instrumentals mix, and master them.
Koby Was born In Accra, Ghana West Africa relocated to The States and started rapping at the age of
7. His influences include Southern and Eastern Hip Hop, Afrobeat. Alternative
rock, and Ghanaian high life.
Koby is a member of the music team E.G.M (Extraordinary Generation Music), with
the title of Head producer /Engineer. Koby, along with his team have been  performing in his local hometown Columbus,
Ohio and traveling to many other cities and states trying to build a buzz.  He is currently working hard to be the
successful artist that he dreamed of being ever since he was 2 years old.  Watch out World! Koby Staxx is on a mission
to take over many genres in the music industry! He is what the industry have
been missing.

Kwabena Asante Kusi
was born on April 10, 1990 in Accra, Ghana. His name Kwabena means a male born on Tuesday, and Koby
is a shortened version used for that name. He was born to Sylvia L. Fredua and Nathan Fredua. His
mother is  Ghanaian and Lebanese decent. His father is
a direct descendant
of The Royal Asante Prempeh family.  His father also part of the legendary Ghanaian band Marijata and played
with Osibisa, Tina Turner, and many
more musicians at the time. He later opened one of the first private
recording

studio in Accra,
Ghana.  Koby's parents moved to the states in 1991 when Koby
was just 1 year 4 months. They later gave birth
to his brother Edward "Dread Head Ed Red" Prempeh in 1995.

Koby actually started
performing at the age of two when he used to introduce his father's band at the Bukom Night
club in Washington D.C. He started rapping at the age of 7 when he moved to
Ghana for two years. He started producing at the age of 12, but felt
as if producers were not taking him serious because of his age. He joined a group
K.M.B. in 2007 and they gained some national recognition after appearing on B.E.T.'s
106 & park Wild Out Wednesday. The grouped split up in 2010 for personal
reasons. Koby produced Sierra Leone top artist Kao Dinero's hit song
"Salone Borbor" at the young age of just 15.He is now with Money,
Power, Respect Management and is booking shows around the U.S.A. Getting ready
to top charts on an international scale with his talent of producing trap beats
then switching up and producing traditional African

music and afrobeat.
Also his ability to to make both genres and also combine the two at times. Koby
Staxx is a one man

hit making machine.
