"Introducing Kodacrome"

Kodacrome’s EP, Perla is actually quite hard to pin down. At times it leans heavily on danceable electronics; at others it’s rough-and-ready rock; at others still it has a light and acoustic feel. What’s impressive is that the blend still manages to make sense. - Listen Before You Buy

Bio

Kodacrome members Elissa and Ryan met on tour in the spring of 2010. Shortly thereafter, the pair began making music together from opposite coasts - (Elissa in San Francisco, and Ryan in Brooklyn). Elissa decided to relocate to the east coast to pursue the project more seriously. The pair recorded their debut EP, "Perla," which was self-released in March 2012.

Before the advent of Kodacrome, Ryan created, produced and performed under the name KaeoFLUX. Notable collaborations include those with Pilot Balloon, M. Sayyid (Anti-Pop Consortium), Zucchini Drive, and Madame Psychosis. KaeoFLUX also released his debut solo album "Form" in 2010. In her pre-Kodacrome years, Elissa wrote and performed under the moniker Elissa P., both for a stint with Brenmar (These Are Powers), and solo in San Francisco. The KaeoFLUX/Elissa P. union was a seamless and rewarding overlap of these two spheres.
