Singer songwriter koi is Kjartan Orri Ingvason born 1975 in Akranes, Iceland, lived and breathed in Hafnafjörður until 2001 when he moved to Rotterdam for work and study.
Kjartan got the nickname koi long time ago after putting his initials on a back of a T-shirt, and now many years later it seems the ideal name for his solo project.
