“…and the Grammy Award for Song of the Year of the year goes to,” These are the words that’ll have Teesa and Mighty Mike of the newly formed duo, KOLAJ, on the edge of their seats within the next year. It’s not every day that two talents of this caliber find their way together, but the stars have aligned to make it so, and boy are we excited. Teesa and Mighty Mike, two LA producers who have been in the game for some time, have teamed up to join the chill/melodic house movement with their new act KOLAJ. With Teesa on vocals and Mike on instruments, this innovative act is set to make heads turn.

The duo will be doing what few have done before them, add significant amounts of live instrumentation to their live shows. Which they’ll be revealing more about soon.

KOLAJ has huge potential to rise to the top of their respective scenes. Why? The two have been locked in beautiful whirlwind known as the LA music industry for years, giving them the insight and knowledge to excel past their competition and blow minds globally.

Teesa has gathered a part of her experience from producers who’ve worked closely with Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Maroon 5, and many more. She’s been apart of writing sessions with Incubus, which eventually led to Randy Jackson taking interest in her and helped guide her path as an artist.

Might Mikes foundation, in part, comes from producer Kool Kojack, who’s worked with the likes of Flo-Rida, Ke$ha, Nicki Minaj, and others. He’s written and produced songs for radio and TV that have reached over 50 countries and worked with Kelly Clarkson and Carly Rae Jespen on projects that eventually reached the top 40.
