Kolten

Kolten Perine, born on December 16, 1992, is a native of Hattiesburg, MS. He resided in Mississippi until he was 8 years old and moved to Dallas, TX in 2000. He attended T.A. Howard Middle School in 2004-2006 and was a starting player on the Basketball and Football Team. His charming personality, talent and team efforts, also, landed him a leading role in the school play “Annie,” of which he received an award for “Best Actor.”

In 2007, Kolten made a final move to Upper Marlboro, MD at the age of 14, in hopes of pursuing his dream of becoming a Music Entertainer. His talents continued to stand out as he participated in the Henry Wise High School Jazz Band for 3 years, under the directorship of Mr. Alford Jiles. He was a member of Performing Arts Dance, under the instruction of Ms. Jeannette Gillis, and, also, became apart of the Tech Crew for stage setup.

Kolten has a passion for music, which became his first love at the age of 1 year old, as he created beats of rhythm on his mother’s pots and pans. After his parents noticed that he had a natural talent for beats, he got his first drum set on his 4th birthday. He has a legacy of great musicians and singers on both his mother and father’s side of the family tree and has a gift to play a number of instruments, by ear, to include: Keyboard, Piano, Drums, Bass, Lead and Acoustic Guitar. Also, Kolten has the God given talent to sing lead and background vocals, music arrangement, songwriting, producing, creative dance moves, and has created a portfolio of powerful songs in his very own personal collection.

His musical inspiration comes from great artist such as Michael Jackson, Usher, Prince, Ne-Yo, Chris Brown, Mario and Trey Songz. However, Kolten spends most of his time being creative and focusing on his own originality. He has had the support, development and management of KNA Management, for 3 years.

Those who know Kolten, will refer to him as loving, kind, talented, self-motivated, focused on his music, charming, and a respectful young man. His love for music shows as his gift continues to grow. Kolten has a great future ahead of him and will capture the music and entertainment industry by storm.
