Bio

Kondriah is from Scarborough, the rich cultural east end of Toronto.
As a first generation Canadian of Jamaican heritage, Kondriah's voice has long sought to connect with his West Indian roots. This is infused with the articulation of the plight, struggles, and joys of everyday life of a misplaced heart in a home away from home.

The mitochondria in scientific terms is the "powerhouse" of the cell, or where the cells get their energy. Kondriah is derived from this wonder of life, and as such, seeks to act as a vessel from which forth energy is shared, through music and everyday expression.

Kondriah has worked with legendary reggae artist and a childhood favourite DJ, Junior Cat, recording the hit single "Do you remember" (will you be mine), and perfomed alongside Junior Cat, Louie Rankin, and Lindo P during the legends of the dancehall tour. With its roots reggae feel, the song has garnered much worldwide interest, and has lead to more collaborations in the works between the 2 artists.

Kondriah has also performed at the Virgin radio beerfest in 2012 in Toronto, the bill included Kreesha Turner, Salt 'N' Peppa and Michie Mee. In Japan January 2013, Kondriah performed at Jamdung, an infamous reggae venue in Kobe that has seen the likes of the biggest artist from Jamaica live in concert.

While establishing himself as a talented musician, kondriah seeks to continue to make music with other great artists- in tune with the energy that creates, inpsires and unites.
