Lyrics

Come Home

Written By: Konflikt

Hook:

When you come home I'll stop this,
When you come home I'll hide it good,
I'll never cry again, When you come home to me.

Verse 1:

This morning I woke up wondering if our country really knows,
the extents of what our soldiers do across the globe,
everyday that we get to wake up safe it's thanks to those,
fighting for us, plenty of stories, many will never be told,
I'm letting them know they're never alone whenever they are alone,
at times I know we act ungrateful but in out hearts we know,
the sacrifices they peruse like living so far from home,
and every single thing they do they, never take for granted no,
each one's a Son a Brother, Cousin, Father, Uncle too,
some young and old but from that point of view that's nothing new,
if you can't process the dangers, all the years of strength and training,
then I guess what you see on TV you claim as entertainment,
what about the daughter getting teased at school for the scarf that she wore,
ignoring the fact that her family's broke as it is and her fathers at war,
with a Mother that's torn and a brother at law school trying to support the fort working hard for them all, so every night she finds herself saying.

Hook.

Verse 2:

It's crazy really how we complain about our 9 to 5's,
when we got soldiers overseas that fight to try survive,
and it's guys like these with pride who our country should idolise,
so tell your little boy that his fathers a hero, every time he cries,
give it up for their motivation, those who know their stationed,
in a city where they know it ain't safe and would rather be home but no complaining,
we could never understand the weeks of no communication,
to the outside world or the magnitude of any situation,
what about the one's that don't come back,
what about the wife that mopes in black,
what about the kids so young when their mum tries to explain it they don't react,
think about the knock at the door when a soldier awaits and you know what for,
when he lowers his hat, she's got to tell her kids that they're never gonna see their dad no more like,
I'm letting you know you're never alone whenever you are alone,
I hoped I'd never see the day I had to let you go,
I'm not okay but every day I'm getting better though,
todays a stepping stone, but still right now she finds herself saying..

Bridge

I saw you again I knew just where you'd be,
I'll stop this, real soon when you're back safe with me

(But 'til then I'll be singing this song)

Keep It Moving

Written By: Konflikt, Tyree

Verse1: Konflikt

You can go ahead and say it, say I'm overrated/
tell me what you think but I guarantee I'm not persuaded/
like it or not but face it I must've been allocated/
with heavy enthusiasm like my name was Larry David/
feeling barricaded living a life that's delegated/
but still I keep on pushing like a slut that's dilated/
so really I don't need rest, I don't need that BS/
I'm all about X and O's like controllers on a PS/
gamers better eject, this is where the playing stops/
I will never change and I put that on every dollar in my savings box/
for the record, I'm still playing when the fader drops/
all about my goals like I'm Messi with his fatal shots/
when the ladies watch I ain't tryna break a sweat/
I'm tryna set me up to be the one they favour next/
chips down so I follow with my safest bet/
keeping it moving like a King in check up in a game of chess/

Hook:

I got my eyes on the prize, ain't stopping for nothing, ya'll don't know shit about me/
A young man with a vision, dollar in my pocket, baby is you rolling with me/
I got my spit game proper and no I ain't stopping gotta let the world hear my music/
This ain't a game you can't clock us, if you try to stop us, it don't matter cause we keep it moving, yeah/

Verse 2: Tyree

I'm so sick I need a doctor, hook game bonkers/
most these rapper's bubblegum call me Willy Wonka/
I game to prosper 200 on the dash/
slow down is impossible, no break pads yeah/
no breaks, man, you will never pass me/
always keep it moving like a line in the canteen/
ask me, but you already know the logic/
when it comes to the hooks, I'm cracking you on it/
fuck around here you don't wanna see Konflikt/
It's a wrap music, bitch pay homage/
you rapper's ain't honest, I see it in your eyes/
ain't gonna drop names but I read between the lines/
I'm an X-Ray visionary/
and I can see your position in the game and that's in fetal or in missionary/
I do what I gotta, Hakuna Matata/
means no worries I got you covered like I'm under umbrellas bitch/

Hook:
Verse 3: Konflikt
Ready, Set, Go, we back on the move/
'Click flash' ready to capture the mood/
I been waiting for this moment to be active where I'm packing the tools/
to take the piss out of the illest like a catheter tube/
better, check the roster/
somebody get the doctor/
futures in an incubator that I'm next to foster/
call me Kevin Costner the way I leave 'em bodied/
'Houston we have a problem' nows when you need to worry/
this is not up for discussion/
I'm tryna grow accustomed to way they put it away like giving vodka to a russian/
my confidence is something/
accomplish equals profit in the pockets so I'm ready to get my promises to function/
no accomplices or nothing, tryna cover few mistakes/
autobahn life never thinking I should use the brakes/
I wanna see how far I get if I pursue the chase/
running to see the view from up above that only few embrace/
