Bio
I'm a farmers wife with an 8 year old son. Born and raised in a small town, married a farmer and moved out into the country. As a child I liked to rhyme sentences. (I think Doctor Seuss had something to do with that). From there I progressed to writing poetry. I had aspired to be a novelist but life has a funny way of steering you in a whole different direction. My love of music is broad and vast. I love everything from new age classical, (Yanni), to heavy metal, (AC/DC) to country (Big & Rich), to hard rock, (Queen) and a little bit of everything else. Music moves me, has always moved me. It can take me away for awhile to a different place. The greatest thing for me about music is it just lifts me up. And the lyrics. The lyrics speak volumns. The lyrics are often a story that I can completely relate to. The lyrics are sometimes funny and just fun to sing along with. I think we all have stories to tell. Stories worthy of a song. So here I am, taking a stab at being a songwriter, hoping beyond hope that someone else is moved by my words, as I am often moved by other songwriters words.
