Bio
Born in Texas, Konrad migrated to New York in his 20's to join the Art Rock movement, playing with Rhys Chatham in his guitar orchestra before leaving on tour with David Linton and choreographer Karole Armitage. Later, writing and performing with Montreal modern dance troupe, La La La Human Steps before returning to NYC and starting his own project. Slash Orchestra, a critiaclly acclaimed electro-acoustic band that included James Lo on drums and eventually Steve McAllister on electronics and Wayne Frost on guitar, toured until 1993 when Konrad disbanded the group and remained in Berlin where the last show was performed. In Berlin he opened the infamous underground club of the mid to late 1990s "Sexiland". Now in London, he has returned to performance and writing music. His last release ws with his electronics project, ZeroPing.
He also performs with acoustic guitar, Kaoss Pad and Latop in and about the UK and mainland Europe.
