Bio

There is a new groove on the streets with a sound that is definitely contagious. His music speaks in musical tongues of Praise, Hip Hop and R & B. Salt and Light Harvest Outreach says "the anointed group, Kontagiouz Soundz, with it's positive lyrics and contagious beat, is energizing and electrifying on stage.”
Rhonda Edwards (director) Salt and Light Harvest Outreach. The music is Christian in one aspect yet there’s also a predominate flavor of alternative, urban appeal that captures the attention of a diverse audience.

Producer/songwriter/evangelist Christopher Sean Harold a.k.a. TRILL NOTEZ, born and raised in Tyler, Texas, spends his time making his dreams become a reality. After relocating to Sacramento, California in 1996, he launched his production company Kontagiouz Soundz Producktionz in February of 2001. At that time his modest production company managed one alternative Christian hip-hop group, TLF (The Lord’s Freedmen), and had produced music for Tommi Girl Entertainment and William Phillips Enterprises. TRILL’s vision has broadened and his musical talent has placed him into a genre of music that is atypical of other urban gospel producers and artists. His non-conforming, lyrical content is as uncharacteristic as the spelling of his production label’s name - Kontagiouz Soundz Producktionz.

Today, TRILL’s music repertoire has expanded and the company has received a well-deserved boost. In June 2005, his self-produced group, Kontagiouz, was nominated for the Sounds of Soul Award for best holy hip-hop (r&p) performers. In November 2004, they won the Honda and Los Angeles Music Association Black Music Award for best holy hip-hop (r&p) performers for the CD release, “A Psalmist’z Reformation”. He was also featured in the December 2004 issue of the Sacramento Observer and the November 2002 issue of the award-winning Bay Area publication, CityFlight Newsmagazine. In 2003, his musical talent opened the door to prominent partnerships with well-known organizations. He produced the signature jingle, “Bow Down” for the Sacramento Kings basketball team. In the same year, he also created the radio advertisement song, “It’s Up to Me” for the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Campaign of the California Department of Health Services.

As the vision continues to unfold, TRILL's company will expand into different areas of producing and ministry. At KSP, TRILL now offers rising Christian artists an opportunity to do in-studio recording to expand their creativity in ministering through songs. He offers talent assistance in digital audio recording, production, songwriting, and music publishing with his newly formed publishing company Make an Impact Music.

TRILL’s first Rap & Praise group, Kontagiouz, continues to make heartfelt impressions upon all those who experience the message in their music. Kontagiouz has made several guest appearances at various venues across the country from the southwest to the west coast. Currently, TRILL is focusing his attention on the promotion and distribution of his CD titled, “A Psalmist’z Reformation” and promoting the highly acclaimed ministry session “Operation Exposure: Hip Hop Culture”. This provocative and cogent session debut at Christian youth camps in 2005 and is one the most talked about elements of his ministry.

TRILL’s passion runs rampant as he drives toward excellence in accomplishing God’s purpose for him, as seen in his dreams unfolding with his urban ministry, Make an Impact Ministries where he conducts workshops and speaks on such topics as the Hip Hop Culture and youth sex. Anointed Entertainment puts it this way, “Kontagiouz definitely has an anointed ministry which spreads the gospel through song and music. They are very energetic and have a great stage presence. They know how to get the people involved in praising God!!!” - Darlene Cotton (promoter) Anointed Entertainment.
