Bio
Nashville based indie rock sextet Kopecky Family Band will be releasing their highly anticipated full length debut "Kids Raising Kids" on October 23rd. Over the last year plus they've been featured on NPR's "All Songs Considered" & "Tiny Desk Series". In addition, they've been named as Best New Band & Best Live Acts of 2011 by Paste Magazine. KFB played over 125 shows in 2011 & will be close to 150 for the 2012 calendar year. Some of the highlights included a sold out co-headline tour with The Lumineers, Lollapalooza appearance in August & up coming Soundland & Austin City Limits shows in October. The band has also toured with Givers, Gomez, and Devotchka over the last year plus. They will also be announcing Fall Headline tour dates on September 7th.
"Heartbeat" the first track on their upcoming album was debuted on RollingStone.com on August 27th. "This track was born out of an out of tune piano" says Kelsey Kopecky. "Hope it makes you smile".
