Biography

Korin has been compared to artists such as Jewel, Sheryl Crow, Stevie Nicks and Natalie Merchant, and yet her unique sound and openness to her audience wins over all who experience her live performance.

Canadian born singer/songwriter Korin made her way down to the USA over 15 years ago. “I learned how to write a song in Nashville,” says Korin after spending years in Nashville, Tennessee. A former staff writer at Nashville’s BMG music, Korin quickly learned that her unique style of writing and singing was not quite ‘country’ enough for Nashville. With six CD's to her credit Korin has recorded with Grammy producers Paul Worley and David Malloy.

Korin's interest in yoga/meditation eventually moved her to San Diego where she began working with world renowned author Dr. Deepak Chopra. Her musical approach changed, she changed and her music evolved and changed as well.
Mostly recently Korin plays to a wide variety of audiences such as Festivals, Coffee Houses, Clubs, Yoga Studios, New Thought Churches, Seminars and Workshops. Korin’s angelic, powerful voice coupled with her honesty and humor have made her a success as she travels sharing and teaching her positive message and playing her music

Korin resides in the southern California area but travels worldwide to share her music.
