"FemmeFest 2006"

......
Next was another ICX veteran band, Korro with the unique lineup of an all girl rock band fronted by a male vocalist, Mike Robinson (who we have decided is the "King" of the L.I. music scene!).
This band likes to rock and scream, and while the last time I reviewed them I had some reservations, this time I was thoroughly convinced.
Robinson's vocals were on target, and always their rhythm section of Lisa on drums and Daniela on bass cranked. - Mike Ferrari

"The Purple Frog Supports LI Music"

...........
Next was Korro, a band we saw at Bamboo Bernie's during the first showcase. These are three of the most talented musicians in their genre that I've heard on the local scene.
They have great stage presence, great beats, and great music. They sounded better than they did at Bamboo B.'s which impressed me because I didn't think they could get any better. - Greg Wilson
