Dubstep/Hip-Hop/Drum and Bass/Drumstep;
Born in Tampa, Florida, but raised in North Alabama, after only a year and a half on the scene, Derek Butts (dbutts for short) and the bass-heavy assault that comes with his sound speaks for itself. Having already shared the stage with worldwide renouned artists from various EDM scenes (such as Dieselboy, Ed Rush and Optical, DJ Shiftee, Skynet, and more) and still pushing the boundaries of live performance and production over a wide variety of electro styles, there is something in his sound to please any basshead / party goer / music lover.
