I Became SUPER serious about wanting to be a professional singer when I was about 14. My mom had never heard me sing, so she found a top notch vocal coach who she thought would "Let Kory down easy" But to her surprise I came walking out of the vocal coach's house with a IMPRESSIVE 5 octave range including the WHISTLE REGISTER. 2 years passed and I continued to train my voice. I was at the the beach and I got a call from my mom who worked in a restaurant at the time and she told me to get there as soon as possible because there is a women here who could help you with your future. I rushed there and i met this women who just so happened to be a retired music manager. She heard a demo I recorded myself on a home computer. She thought I had A LOT of talent. 2 years passed and we grew apart. During the ending period of my 1st manager I was introduced to the Multi-Grammy Award WINNING Artist/Producer Betty Wright. I was in Miami helping out my uncle who owns a Christmas Tree lot during the Holiday season, and Ms. Betty Wright walked in and I had NO clue who she was but to my surprise she was a family friend. My mom told her I am a singer and she looked at me and smiled and asked what my favorite song was and she started singing it to me. She told me to come by her house that next tuesday and "BRING MY VOICE". She thought she was just going to have to do the family a favor and hear me and then let my family down easy. I am under her wing still till this day. She runs a class that I got accepted in to called the M.O.S.T. (Mountain Of Stars Today = Mountain Of Songs Tomorrow) I am learning how to become a better writer as well as an entertainment and the business of music. I also learn media training. Since my time being with her i have recorded a 7 song EP.

My name is Kory Burns. I am from South Florida. I am 20. When i was 3 I heard a song by Mariah Carey on the radio called Dreamlover. Ever since I heard that song I have wanted to be a singer. It shows my fun Urban Pop/Hip-Hop/Club/ Influences such as Mariah Carey, TLC, Boyz 2 Men, Luther Vandross, Alanis Morissette, Michael Jackson, Usher and many more. Even a song I wrote in mate class made it on my EP. The thing that sets me apart from others is that my voice is unique and my personality is one of a kind.
