Bio
K-OS started in 2007 at Mom's Music Rock School under the direction of Pat Bareis. Two of the original band members, bassist Jacob Long and drummer Sam Maxwell, were mere children when the band formed.
By 2009 with the addition of Christian Hartlage as lead singer, the band had all the components necessary to start performing. They quickly became a performance band and have performed at several public venues (i.e. the Chow Wagon on the Riverfront, Kentucky State Fair, Harvest Homecoming festival, Bearnos Pizza, Fourth Street Live, Hard Rock Cafe) as well as private venues (i.e. wedding reception, parties).
They say all good things must end . . . but in the case of K-OS, the ending was really the beginning of something new and exciting. Recently, Jacob Murrell joined the band as lead guitar player. He brings new songs, fresh ideas, and experience with other bands to K-OS.
K-OS has the right mix of musicians, the unwaivering desire to perform, and the dedication to move from the rehearsal room to the stage.
The influences of K-OS include Nirvana, KISS, Aerosmith, Velvet Revolver, and Guns and Roses.
