Bio

When I first heard Fat Pat "Ghetto Dreams" in 1998, my first response was "Maine Hold Up", and that's when I knew that rappin’ is what I wanted to do.

Born in Taylor, TX in 1981, his father was in the Army so his family moved around. This boy’s been from the TX to WA, and overseas to Germany but he couldn’t resist comin’ back home to the Great State of TEXAS. His last stop in which he calls home was Willow Springs, also known as “the dub", out of Killeen, TX. Now if you knew him back then, you knew him as “Snoop”, a childhood nickname simply because he resembles the Rapper Snoop Dog. Just one of the few artists that inspired him along with Slick Rick, Biggy, Tupac, Fat Pat, Hawk, and Big Daddy Kane. Now traveling on the road doing shows, opening up for known artists like Lil Jon and Shawna, just to name a few, Koupe (rap name) aka Papi Dominguez is workin’ on a solo project. With the question always asked: "What's your motivation?” I quote, "my kids". It's no wonder why Koupe is not only a hardworking father but also a hardworking artist. Not only does he have an open mind but he also has an open ear to music. With a style very unique, you can spot him out by being the one rockin a black leather wrist band, a long piece & chain, nice fitting top, baggy Rocawear jeans with a chain hanging out the pocket, and a throwed pair of Airwalk kicks on his feet. He has his own "swag" as he calls it. You can try and hate on him, but can't, because he knows how to rock it and make it look good! Now, when you listen to his music it's not about drugs, or killing and things like that. Why? Because that's just not Koupe. His music is about what he knows: his life, women, money, and clothes. His style is slow, catchy, smooth and of course suave, which is why he also goes by Papi Dominguez. A name for the ladies because he’s so smooth. From songs you can ride to, or even if your feeling a little crunk. Whatever your mood your guaranteed to feel his. Once you open your ears to his music there's no closing them. You'll want him pushing out more and more, like Michael pushing out Jordan's! All that's left to say to the men: you've got to feel him, and to the ladies: try to keep your pants on! Cool as a fan, it's Kool Koupe with a K. Now try not to be so anxious because the "Return of the Mack" is coming soon.
