Bio
Powerful, melodic and charismatic, Kovered in Lies has been carving a deep niche in North America’s independent hard rock scene for some time.
Drawing their influences from a wide musical spectrum, vocalist/drummer Ben Klippert, guitarist Paul Laframbiose and bassist Billy Klippert, have come together to forge a unique sound familiar yet diverse enough to call their own.
Breath taking guitar work coupled with a bone crushing rhythm section provide the perfect platform for Ben Klippert’s intense yet melodic styling’s.
Based out of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, K.I.L rapidly burst on to the local scene with awe inspiring live performances that leave their audiences wanting more. With the release of their self titled debut album in 2008, their reputation as one of Western Canada’s premier independent hard rock bands was solidified.
Kovered in Lies is currently working on a full length album and touring in support of their debut effort.
