All five members hail from the Detroit area, hard working musicians whose love for the music and their families have forged a bond of friendship and creativity. All are seasoned players with years of stage and touring experience and the professionalism and reliability that comes with it.
Krank Nine has consistently played most of the major clubs in the Detroit area including; The Hayloft, TNT's, The Token Lounge, The Irock Nightclub and The Dawg House. Not to mention a few sleezy clubs deep in the heart of the city that we couldn't find again if we tried.
Previous bands our current members have played with consist of; Chidren of the Revoultion, Murder City, Sex Kitchen, Seduce, The Ramones, The Rockets, Concrete Rattle, Tobey Redd, as well as many other side projects.
The Krank Nine sound is influenced by bands like Black Sabbath, Alice in Chains, Judas Priest, C.O.C, Down, Black Label Society and Pantera. Bands whose heavy grooves, dark themes and wide dynamics dominate their music.
