An eclectic musician, italian songwriter Kreon grew up in a small island placed in the north of Mediterranean sea: Elba island, Tuscany.
Since he was far from city lights Kreon fed his imagination under the shelter of muses like Theatre, Poetry and Music.
His curios artistic name was given by his friends while he acted that role in Sophocles’ “Antigone”.
When it was time for college Kreon moved to Bologna, a dynamic and artistic city, willing to improve his musical skills. In those years he attended both engineering and music courses and worked as bartender; he studied jazz and classic guitar, composition and singing.
Specialized in acoustic engineering he never took the diploma in “contemporary and jazz guitar” since he decided to become a song writer after the performance of a brand new band..Their name was Dave Matthews Band! For the first time he realized which sound and approach to guitar and lyrics he would have had.
Despite his approach to melody derives from UK artists listening, he became being very influenced by African and South American rhythms. His style evolved into a mix of Latin melodies, rock blues rhythm and classic guitar composition.
Kreon received offers from Indie labels for his song “You Shine” but none was appealing.
At last Kreon decided to record his music with the best PRO musicians and friends he had known. With this highly talented ensemble, The Kreon Project band was formed in 2008 winter.
Kreon realized that Italy is not the best place to perform and left for NYC in the 2008 spring while sound engineers were mastering the demo.
The first US feedback was given by Broadway voice trainer Adam Roebuck.
Currently he is in rehearsal to perform an European tour in a rearranged Trio version of his tunes to focus listener’s attention to rock impact and sound.
