Lyrics

One Slow Dance A Day

Written By: Krisanthi Pappas

A: One slow dance a day, I love when we take time to play.
One slow dance, makes our romance stay.

A: Lunch at a cafe, come get me and take me away.
Let’s talk about things that we don't always say.

B: We rush in the door, and fly across the floor,
just to grab the ringing phone.
Our backyard needs mowing, and while the list keeps growing,
we still need time alone.

A: One love song to play, there’s always too much to do anyway,
One slow dance is the best part of the day.

(last time) at the end of the day, at the end of our day.

If I Had Only Known

Written By: Krisanthi Pappas

Verse 1: If I had only known, there would be you,

I would’ve dreamed more hours, of things we could do.

If I had only known, if I’d had a clue,

I would’ve picked more flowers, just to bring them to you.

Bridge: I’d seen so many loves end, and you were just my friend,

then I looked into your eyes and by surprise I realized

that you and I had fallen in love.

Verse 2: If I had only known, I’d have a chance,

I would’ve asked the moonlight, to bring this romance.

If I had only known, we’d have romance,

I would’ve watched my shadow, learning how to dance.

(Instrumental Solos over Verse)

Bridge: I’d seen so many loves end, and you were just my friend,

then I looked into your eyes and by surprise I realized that you and I had fallen in love, oh!

Verse 3: If I had only known, I wouldn’t be alone,

I would’ve tried more flavors, to share an ice cream cone.

If I had only known, you’d be my own,

I would’ve learned more love songs, if I had only known.

Tag: I would’ve learned more love songs, if I had only known.

Celebratin' Swing

Written By: Krisanthi Pappas

A: There’s a kind of music that always makes me move.
Snap on the two and four and start to groove.
It’s the music that I sing, when I’m celebratin’ swing.

A: A syncopated rhythm that makes me tap my feet.
I wanna kick my legs and jump up to the beat.
It’s the music that I sing, when I’m celebratin’ swing.

B: Listen to the hi-hat, feel that drive.
Makes any melody come alive,
Hold your partner, spin around
Can’t feel my feet even touch the ground.
It’s the music that I sing, when I’m celebratin’ swing.

C: HORN LINE without vocal
A: SOLOS 4 X

B: Listen to the hi-hat, feel that drive.
Makes any melody come alive,
Hold your partner, spin around
Can’t feel my feet even touch the ground.
It’s the music that I sing, when I’m celebratin’ swing.

C: Makes me, jump out of bed,
I wake up bobbing my head
Just tap my shoes on the floor,
Then strut myself out the door.
To the music that I sing, when I’m celebratin’ swing.
