Kris Kelly, originally from Austin, Texas, is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, and composer. At age 17, Kris moved to New York to study music composition and opera performance. It was there that he first picked up the acoustic guitar and developed his unique finger-picking style and intricate system of alternate tunings.
Over the years, his music has evolved into an fusion of various music styles, forming his own unique sonic tapestry of complex vocal melodies, hypnotic guitar parts, and Kris's own innovative arrangements for various classical instruments.
Folk, acoustic, indie, classical, avant-garde, jazz, people describe Kris's music in a variety of ways. However, most fans will agree that the music is powerful, hypnotic, and straight from the heart.
