Krista D has been wooed by the entertainment industry since she began. Her distinct beauty and her fiercely independent fashion sense pulled her immediately into major projects in both modeling and acting. However, it was when she wrote her first song at the age of 14 that she knew that music was in her soul. She started writing deeply personal and mature songs, and by the age of 16 she had entered the recording studio.

Krista D uses thought provoking song structure with smooth rich vocals. The music keeps pace by by melting thick reggae backbeat into a heavy rock wall of sound. This fresh new style breathes talent and ingenuity into a stale industry, and if fans are not caught up by Krista’s sweet vocals or her web of storytelling, then they are moving unconsciously to the pulse of her band.
