Introductcing Singing Sister Duo: Kristen and Shaina

Kinetic and sassy sisters, Kristen and Shaina have always had an intrinsic love and passion for music. Although they wrote short little a cappella songs and made up dance routines to perform at family functions, it wasn’t until their high school years that they decided to publically pursue their dream. First singing at local venues, the girls performed cover songs with simple karaoke tracks and sometimes only one mic (and maybe even no mic at all). Yet time and time again they won over audiences of all kinds.
Sooner rather than later Kristen and Shaina accomplished competing in CBS’s Star Search, winning first place at the Worlds Famous Apollo Theatre with their rendition of the Etta James’ classic “At Last”, singing the national anthem at NBA Net’s home games and The New York Yankees Sports Writers dinner, and much, much more. Soon after, the girls put their song writing ability to the test and with some experimentation ended up encompassing their own unique sound- Rihanna meets Justin, maybe some Fergie and a little Beyonce. They can be compared to today’s top pop artists, yet when you hear a song by Kristen and Shaina it is distinguishable due to the blend that the two biological sisters generate. The girls not only write their material, but choreograph to their songs as well. Kristen and Shaina look forward to sharing their music with everyone.
