Bio
Kristen Maxfield is a 24 year-old singer, songwriter. Many would compare her to Bonnie Raitt, Joss Stone, and Norah Jones. Shes had the pleasure of performing with some wonderful and talented musicians (e.g. Kenny Rogers, Sting and Styx). By the age of 19 she had written, produced and distributed her first CD, Twisted Reality. She earned a Bachelor of Music Degree in Vocal Jazz Performance, with High Honors, from the University of the Arts (Philadelphia). After completing an internship with the Recording Academy, Kristen moved to NYC where she is currently the Executive Director of Arabesque Recordings LLC (Jazz and Classical Label). Presently, she is working on her new album, Bringin' It Home, with some of NYCs finest musicians and is also a backup vocalist, along with Ms. Carol Brevard-Stern, for the group The Square Egg.
