Biography

Blending the soul of the church with the blues tradition of the south, Kristina Beaty mesmerizes audiences with her smooth honey vocals and savvy fiddle work. She developed a musical affinity for Americana and blues in her hometown of Savannah, Georgia, playing the violin since the age of three. After touring the east coast and performing at local events like the Savannah Jazz Festival, she recorded a collection of jazz and blues standards, which caught the ears of record industry legends Bruce Lundvall and Arif Mardin. This led to a developmental deal at the age of nineteen, with a Blue Note record deal soon to follow. Beaty has since collaborated with Syl Johnson, the Max Weinberg Seven and Grammy winning songwriters Tony Arata and Darius Rucker. She recently signed with prominent artist manager Michael Hausman (Aimee Mann, Suzanne Vega) and supported Grammy-winning Marc Cohn on a national tour, culminating in a career-breaking performance at the venerated Carnegie Hall. Beaty is currently in the studio recording her highly anticipated debut album.
