Bio
A top prize-winner of international competitions, Kristina Moditch has performed at Carnegie’s Weill Hall, the Moscow Conservatory Great Hall, the Moscow International House of Music, The DiMenna Center for Classical Music and Birdland jazz club in NYC. She has given solo recitals at the Newport Music Festival in Rhode Island and Musikfest in Pennsylvania and has been featured at the New York Piano Festival in NYC, PianoSummer Festival at New Paltz, NY, Pianofest in the Hamptons, NY, the Moscow International Festival of Young Soloists, the Vladimir Spivakov International Festival “Moscow Meets Friends”, St. Petersburg House of Music festivals, the Arthur Rubinstein Institute in Spain, among others.
Kristina has soloed with the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra, the Allentown Symphony Orchestra, the Togliatti Symphony Orchestra, the Igor Lerman Chamber Orchestra, The Bach Choir of Bethlehem & Bach Festival Orchestra. She has been a guest artist at the “Bach at Noon” program in Pennsylvania for several years.
A native of Allentown, PA, Kristina began her piano studies at age four and won her first piano competition when she was six. She graduated summa cum laude from the Central Music School for Gifted Children in Moscow and currently completing her degree at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory.
