"The Music Never Stopped"

“Kristy Elaine and her backing band provided the music for this year’s holiday splash and did not fail to bring the good times. Her sassy mix of jazz meets southern blues appealed to all and made for a splendid backdrop of fun.” - Meandré Magazine

Bio

Kristy’s High School years were spent at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts and by her senior year, had a single that was recorded in Nashville under Sundial Records and produced by Danny Day. This single reached number 11 on the independent charts and received nationwide radio airplay. Kristy was also a solo artist at the Grand Ole Oprey for the Hank Snow show and was given an open invitation to return. Kristy turned her interests to Jazz and became the April finalist for the 2004 Fabulous Finds contest for the Fabulous 570's radio station. Though the radio station was bought-out before she could ever perform in the finals, she did gain interest in quite a few names in the L.A. Jazz industry such as Michael Feinstein and was also privileged to work with great artists such as Ralph Penland, John B. Williams, Carol Robbins, Gerald Pinter, Otmaro Ruiz, and Charles Moore.

Kristy has taken her diverse background and interests and has formed a network with many jam bands in the Southern California region making either guest appearances or hiring them on as a backing band. Kristy performs in an improvisational setting true to the jam band scene so no jam is alike and every show is unique. Kristy enjoys playing a mix of original material as well as covers to audiences with as much a diverse musical interest as her own.

Kristy Elaine is currently looking to book shows and has most recently played at Fitzgerald’s in Huntington Beach, Cooks Corner in Trabuco Canyon, the Blues Café in Huntington Beach and most recently the Napa Valley Art and Wine Festival.
