""Most Requested Song In New York""

Re: Little Did She Know (fall of 2001)
“Kristy’s song has definitely struck a chord in NY. It’s the most requested song on WPLJ by a 2-1 margin...More requested than Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, NSynch, Destiny’s Child and the backstreet Boys" - Scott Shannon/WPLJ Radio New York

"Can't Keep Up With The Requests""

Re: Little Did She Know
"Can't keep up with the requests! Some one told me to issue a tissue alert before we played it! You've really touched people." - Barb Richards/WAJI 95.1 Fort Wayne, IN

""We Love It Here In Chicago""

Re: Little Did She Know
Fall of 2004
“I played it this morning to get the reaction of our listeners (after I spent a good five minutes bawling myself from it). We loved it here in Chicago. How can you not change the way you look at your life when you hear that song” - Melissa Forman/WLIT Radio Chicago, IL

""Not A Day Goes By We Don't Get Calls For You""

Re: "Little Did She Know"
In the fall of 2001:
“Not a day goes by that we don't calls requesting "Little Did She Know." It has touched a lot of us here in Atlanta. Nothing else I've heard comes as close to summing up our feelings for the brave people of flight # 93 and their families than this song. God bless you.” - Kelly & Alpha/B98.5 Atlanta, GA

"The phones are ringing!"

Re: "Little Did She Know"
“There’s no paper in my fax machine, my email inbox is jammed up and the phones are ringing! There isn’t a dry eye in Long Island. This song reminds us to never take anything for granted” - Rob Miller/ PD - WALK Radio, Long Island

""Somebody Sign This Chick!""

With All Of My Broken Heart (first track off Body & Soul)
"Recorded in Nashville, this simple piano-vocal performance throws the spotlight where it belongs, on her remarkable songwriting ability. Somebody sign this chick"
Robert K. Oermann
Music Row Magazine/Feb. 2003
- Robert K. Oermann, Music Row Magazine

""Jackson's Mecurial Style Refuses To Be Pegged""

Body & Soul
"Deftly zeroing in on the heartstrings, Jackson soars and saunters, exploring lyrically and musically those emotions uppermost at one time or another in everyone's life. Alternating moods in rapid succession, Jackson swings back and forth between razor-sharp observations, mellow recollections and poignant longings. Jackson's entertaining mix of blues-rooted jazz, which swings smoothly into country with a touch of rock and torch, produces a style all her own. Jackson's mercurial style refuses to be pegged. It's one that was nurtured in a home where, according to the performer, music, love and and encouragement were part of the daily diet. And with grateful acknowledgement to the parents who made it possible, the CD's last number is a hidden track put together by Jackson as a tribute to her parents. Listening, one feels the same tug that has shaped their talented daughter's destiny."
- Susan Farrington, Sanford Herald

""A Gutsy Bluesy Path Straight To The Heart""

"Kristy Jackson has a warm soulful voice that takes a gutsy bluesy path straight to the heart of the matter and brings the audience alternately into the company of angels or to ruminations about the color of our bedroom ceiling. She had all of us laughing uproariously one minute and reaching for the tissue box the next. She is a terrific performer."
- Laurie Oudin/Main St. Cafe/Miami, FL

Bio

Smoky vocalist and boogie piano playing songstress combines uptempos and attitude lyrics with melodic ballads and lyrics that pierce the heart. Kristy's had singles with artists on Universal, Giant and MCA records most noted her bluesy attitude song, "Take It Back" recorded by Reba McEntire. Kristy's recording of her own song, "Little Did She Know(She'd Kissed A Hero)" thrust her in the national spotlight after 9/11.
Turning down a record deal from Sony, she remained independent and raised over $27,000 for 9/11 charities. She's been recognized by both the NJ and PA State Senates as well as numerous NY EMT associations. For every event, there is a song and for the folks in New York, NJ, Pennsylvania and other major markets, "Little Did She Know" will always be that song. It continues to get heavy airplay every anniversary of 9/11.
