Bio

Heralding from Blytheville, Arkansas, Krystal’s voice is a unique blend of contemporary gospel, worship, neo-soul, jazz, and hip-hop; possessing a sound that is unique and culturally current with an anointing of “an old soul”. It is “Krystal” clear that this young woman’s ministry is rooted deep and here to stay. Krystal has been endowed by God with a plethora of gifts and talents that create divine opportunities to minister on many levels.

Psalmist, Songwriter, Producer, Entrepreneur, and Co-Owner of AVOF Production Company, Krystal proudly proclaims her three much anticipated singles “Appreciate the Lord”, “Alright”, and “Thank You”. Each song is classic and a characteristic of Krystal’s ability to make music relevant heartfelt and soothing with a message of Jesus Christ that reins supreme. Krystal’s passion, drive, determination, and resilience, is truly faith operative. This young woman knows what God has given her and is confident and courageous in her pursuit of excellence and in using all of her members to glorify God.

“I knew I was anointed to sing at an early age”, says Krystal. At an early age, her singing began in her father's church choir. Krystal has sung and directed with several choirs in Little Rock Arkansas, and later joined gospel group, "Spiritual Affair".

She has made several acting and singing debuts across this great country in Texas, Kansas, Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee, Atlanta, and Louisiana. With plays such as, "No More Blood to Shed," which starred the late Reverend James Moore and Smokie Norful, "I Won't Complain", and "That's the Way Love Goes”, along with singing with the United Voices Chorale of Pine Bluff. Currently, Krystal is in a production called "The Secrets to Broken Pieces". The tour is scheduled for the fall of 2005.

Krystal is featured on several artists projects such as Harold Wade and Worshippers for Christ, Gerald Thompson, and Levi "Too" King. Krystal also co-produced a local teen talk show.

In the midst of juggling her schedule, Krystal still remains faithful in her duties at Greater St. Mark COGIC of East St. Louis, IL, as one of the youth directors and praise and worship leaders, under the leadership of Elder Mark Ratliff, Sr.

Krystal’s full project CD release, which is “Captivating, Riveting, Breathtaking, Anointed and filled with power”, says Ryan Anderson, CEO of Excelsior, Inc., will follow her promotional CD release in the fall of 2005.
