Bio
Krystan Bellows is a singer/songwriter out of Calgary, AB focusing her talents on the Pop/Country genre.
You could find krystan in her room at the age of 6 singing everything from Shania Twain to the Spice Girls.
It was at this moment that Krystan knew what she wanted to do. Working toward her dream she started participating in school musicals, plays and later entering into local talent contests as well auditioning for Canadian Idol.
Fortunately Krystan got cut from Canadian Idol and was defined and determined by the experience, which prompted her to take music more seriously working with a local vocal coach, Anna Beaumont.
Next Krystan decided to pick up the acoustic guitar and taught herself how to play. It was during this time that she really started to develop even more of a passion for songwriting.
Continuously wanting to improve her skills Krystan has completed both online and live songwriting courses with Pat Pattison as well worked with vocal coaches Brett Manning, Jeff Mathena and Katie Scherrer out of Nashville.
Krystan is currently working on her first EP at The Beach Advanced Audio and Recording studio out of Calgary, AB with Producer/Chief Engineer Derek Sylwestrzak.
