Bio
A gifted musician by nature, Krysta began her public career at the age of seven with an impromptu performance at a local karaoke establishment. At age eight, her talents landed her in recording studios, and vocal training at Jan Smith Studios (Atlanta, GA) where she has been studying under the tutelage of vocal coach, Lisa Rosemond for the past 8+ years. In addition to vocals, Krysta also studies guitar with Peter Vogl.
She is a regular vocalist and acoustic guitar player for the worship teams of North Point Community Church, Buckhead Church, Watermarke Church and Southside PTC. Her vocals may also be heard on radio stations all over the country on jingles & voice-overs for commercials she records with Clear Channel Creative Services.
Krysta is a singer/songwriter with a lot of soul in her pop/country sound, shes known for her strong, consistent vocals, smooth runs and a wide 4-octave range. She recently completed her first professional self-titled CD, with six of the ten song offering written solely by her as well as three co-written with talented artists including Mac Powell of Third Day.
She brings her own identity to any song that she sings and is confident of who she is as an artist. "Why would I want to sound like everyone else? I have my own style, she states with confidence.
