I played my first song on my plastic yellow keyboard when i was 4 years old. Neither my parents or my twin brother are musical and my talent seemed to come from nowhere. I would see movies as a toddler and march over to my keyboard and play the songs. After years of lessons in piano and violin, I had become a classically trained musician playing in youth symphonies and participating in music festivals. Two years ago when I was 16 i snuck into my brother's room to check out his guitar. I used my theory training to teach myself chords and fell in love with guitar. The first song I really wrote was a worship song that I performed at church. People seemed to be impressed so I continued making music that i enjoy. Im not a trained vocalist but I know that I have a unique sound, and I'm pretty comfortable with my voice now. I love feist, adele, the format, dresden dolls, and rufus wainwright.
